Way to go, GCW’75! I feel a little empathy for the “Lesser Goldfinch” versus the other names. 🙂

Those are remarkable photos Woody! Even I can tell the difference between a male and female Tanager. I hope you are well. Sad news about Bill Buck. He was one of the all-time best.

    George,
thank you for sharing. Broad Billed Hummingbird is a terrific picture. We have a pair of hawks building a nest very close to our office on Rt29 facing the Chick Fila… been exciting watching them up close.
    Best,
    Jeff

    Hi George
Right now I’m camping in the Davis Mt in TX. ALL these birds are here either full time or migrating. It’s wonderful. I’ve added several to my life list. Our water connection to the camper was dripping with a small leak, so what’s a birder do? She gets out a big fry pan and turns it into a birdbath…. And it worked! Great bird blinds here keeping me busy. It’s almost cocktail time and you know where I’ll be having mine! Stay well
    Vicky
